Before infants are born, mothers can do a variety of things to start childhood development. These include singing to the womb, reading stories and eating right amounts of food.

The Press and Spin Safari is another nice toy. The infant will press on the button and watch 2 creatures go in circles. The baby will not be bored since it has music and sound effects as part of the entertainment package. The person will need some batteries to keep this running.
Toys in stage 2 can be used at the same time that stage 1 products are used until the infant has reached 2 years of age. Upon reaching this, the child can now start with items in stage 3. These are designed to help the baby in better hand to eye coordination, sorting, imaginative play and crawling.
An example is the Bongo Beat. The toy is a monkey equipped with 3 drums. When a ball is placed in any of the 3 drums, a different sound is produced. The child will also be fascinated since the monkey will also dance with the music.
The Whirl and Twirl is another nice toy. This has a base with 3 dolls. When the infant places one of the dolls on the top, a different song will be played and this is dancing on the base.
Aside from these toys in the first few years of the child’s life, Lamaze has other products to offer. This includes the Gentle Vibration Gym which is in a turtle shape. The toy will vibrate for 5 minutes after touching its head and can be played in different ways from hanging an object to listening to different tunes being played.
Lamaze products are both playful and educational. A good example is the Star Shapes which will introduce the infant to different objects.
